Robert Fields

Born in North Lincolnshire, he had his first piano lesson aged 6 years. Robert gained musical experience as a chorister at Lincoln Cathedral. After leaving music college he spent 30 years in the Scottish Highlands working as a nurse, piano teacher and crofter.

Sam Braysher featuring Annie Majin: Kurt Weill and the American Songbook
The Blue Room at The Lawn, Lincoln
London-based saxophonist Sam Braysher’s warmly received new project That’s Him: The Music of Kurt Weill, explores the work of this fascinating composer who lies at the intersection of European classical music, jazz, opera and American musical theatre. Rising star vocalist Annie Majin and a crack band of in-demand players will reveal hidden Weill gems with glances at adjacent American composers Rodgers & Hammerstein, Gershwin and Harold Arlen.
