Adventures in Music

Adventures in Music uses rhythm, music and movement to develop your child's language skills, spark their imagination and build their confidence in exploring and making music.

From pirates to fairies, a mermaid city to a monster mountain, there are 10 sessions in total with a different theme each week, so you and your little ones can clap, stamp, shake, dance and sing!
Available at a range of dates and times. This is the start of a ten-week series.

The Lullaby Bank is your chance to relax and bond with your baby in a calm space.
Sing, listen to and learn soothing and uplifting melodies from around the globe. Perfect for new mothers and their babies aged 0-9 months, and expectant mothers in their third trimester.
Available at a range of dates and times. This event is held weekly.

Roan Kearsey-Lawson's Sounds of LMO
The Blue Room at The Lawn, Lincoln
This superb band recreates the excitement of Lionel Hampton (L), ,MIlt Jackson's cool (M) and the prowess of Oscar Peterson (O). Roan plays vibes in his own unique way, as Lionel Hampton did (also playing piano and drums) and expresses the cool vibe sounds of Milt Jackson. Craig Milverton meanwhile is arguably the UK's closest pianist to the quality and style of Oscar Peterson.

Jan and Paul Ramsey

Jan and Paul have been singing at folk venues since the 1980s. Their repertoire includes a wide range of traditional folk songs, as well as more contemporary and self-penned folk music. They are particularly well known for their vocal harmonies.

Juliet Hayley

Juliet started playing violin aged six. She graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Juliet is now a violin teacher based in the West Midlands,, her programme will be Schubert Sonata in A (Grand Duo), Elgar's Chanson de Matin/Chanson de Nuit and Copland Hoedown.

KoKo Collective
The Blue Room at The Lawn, Lincoln
Led by multi-reed virtuoso Arran Kent, this talented quintet will be diving into the rich musical heritage of bebop, exploring the classic Jazz Messengers 1954 recording: 'A Night at Birdland'. Expect to hear music penned by Horace Silver, Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. Rubenstein Hartung Duo
Conoco Room, Louth Library
Robin Rubenstein and Victoria Hartung met in the 70s as graduates of the Royal College of Music, London. They went on to form their successful piano duo, making their debut appearance in the Purcell Room on London's South Bank and broadcasting several recitals on BBC Radio 3.
