The 2025/2026 year has been another remarkable chapter for SoundLincs, highlighting our versatility and continued commitment to harnessing the power of music to support wellbeing, education, and community engagement across a wide range of audiences and organisations.
We are incredibly proud of all we have achieved over the past year. Our work has spanned a wide range of vital areas, from empowering over 500 young people to reimagine local history through our Future of the Past heritage project, to re-engaging learners through hands-on music production and DJing in alternative education settings. We have continued to champion mental health and wellbeing through the final year of our UpBeat programme, provided a crucial creative bridge from hospital wards back into the community with Connect, and used songwriting and rap to support rehabilitation within the justice system through Inside Voices.
Beyond these core initiatives, our community reach has flourished, delivering 1,157 music sessions to 3,378 participants across Lincolnshire. From tackling the digital divide for people experiencing homelessness through Tuning In, to celebrating children in care at the 13th FAB! Awards, our programmes continue to create meaningful connection and personal growth. Looking ahead, we are excited to expand our reach even further with the launch of our Children & Young People’s Social Prescription Service and MusiCare.
