More Funding for Memory Lane

We’re delighted to have been awarded £6,500 from The Utley Foundation to support the continuation of our Memory Lane dementia groups.

Memory Lane uses music to support people living with dementia, creating opportunities for connection, creativity and positive shared experiences. We’re incredibly pleased to be able to continue this work and build on the impact the groups have already had.

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to the Power of Music Fund, delivered by the National Academy for Social Prescribing, which originally supported us to develop and deliver Memory Lane. Following the completion of our impact report, the Power of Music team played a critical role in putting SoundLincs forward to The Utley Foundation for further funding.

This is a great example of how investment in an innovative idea, combined with strong evidence of its impact, can help a project continue and grow. We’re grateful to both funders for recognising the value of using music to support people living with dementia and for helping us continue to make a difference in our communities.
