B15 was a unique musical event and the culmination of activities to celebrate our 15th Birthday. We held a spectacular music event on Saturday 3rd May at the Epic Centre, Lincolnshire Showground which saw over 300 musicians and singers perform to a worldwide audience.
Following a day of rehearsals, the players aged between 7 and 85 performed a new composition based on the traditional Lincolnshire Folk tune ‘Lost Lady Found’. The performance featured 15 different musical genres, including Orchestra, Folk, Rock, Jazz, Choral, Music Technology, and Brass Band and saw a huge variety of instruments including guitars, clarinets, accordions a gamelan, a harp, voices, iPads and unique, hand-made instruments.

We also took part in a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® attempt. Along with Sealed Air (the inventors of Bubble Wrap!) we attempted to break the record for the ‘Most People Popping Bubble Wrap’ and created a short, rhythmic, popping performance. For more information about the attempt please click here.
The performance was live streamed around the world and you can watch the recording here:

While away an entertaining three minutes watching our short film to find out a bit more about the project:
B15 was supported by funding from The Full English and EFDSS. The EFDSS have created a video displaying the work they did with the Full English programme in 2013-14, featuring B15 around the 06:23 mark!
With thanks also to Sealed Air, the inventors of bubble wrap, who have donated all of the bubble wrap & costs towards the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® Official Attempt. And to Go Promotional for contributing to the costs of promotional items.
