Nikki-Kate Heyes MBE – CEO Shelley Spink – Executive Assistant
Nikki-Kate, a champion for community music for over 25 years, has been at the helm of soundLINCS since its creation in 1998. In June 2013, Nikki-Kate was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours as the founder of soundLINCS and services to music.  Nikki-Kate is an accomplished cellist, conductor and composer and the founder/player of the Heyes Ensemble A long-serving member of the team, Shelley is Nikki-Kate’s Executive Assistant;an Associate of the CIPD, managing the HR function for the Company; and a key member of the Regional Programmes Team. Shelley also teaches piano; a vocalist and songwriter who enjoys gardening, DIY, books and films.
John Stafford – Programme Development Manager Allison Jackson – Programme Development Manager
John works on a job share basis with Allison to manage and develop soundLINCS programmes. He is a composer who enjoys collaborating with Dance, Theatre and Video makers. John likes to read Roddy Doyle & George Orwell, watch Mike Leigh & the Cohen Brothers, and listen to Fela Kuti & the Kora. Allison works on a job share basis with John Stafford. Allison enjoys running and is a busy Mum to 2 children under 6!
Teresa Elliott – Finance and Operations Manager Nicola Stanton – Programme Development Officer
Teresa manages soundLINCS’ finances, oversees the administration and IT of the company and leads in various operational areas. Teresa enjoys travel and holidays, reading and films, loves cats, ants and technology (is a bit of a geek at heart) and is learning the clarinet. Nicola is the full time member of the programmes team. She is also responsible for setting the Lincolnshire programmes. In her spare time she is often to be found dancing enthusiastically in her kitchen, rampantly enjoying the many genres of her eclectic music taste. She is a singer/songwriter and artist.
Sam Cullington – Media and Communications Officer
Sam is responsible for all of soundLINCS’ marketing and managing the website and social media pages. Sam enjoys films, sport and any excuse to unleash his competitive side!

Board Members

 Glenn Tinsley – Chair
Glenn is a retired naval captain and has a real love of live music, owning and running his own recording studio, Rudesounds. He’s also an avid musician and plays guitar, keyboard and sings, among other instruments.
 Susan Edge – Board Member
Susan is a freelance consultant with an extensive background in further and adult education, including standards-based quality assurance and workforce development.
 David Gibbons – Board Member
David is Headteacher of Nettleham Church of England Aided Junior School and a Board Member of Sinfonia ViVA Chamber Orchestra.
 Ian Bacon – Board Member
Ian is a chartered engineer who has worked in the public and private sector on a range of transport related engineering and management projects.  He is currently a technical manager for the UK automotive trade association. In his free time he is involved with music technology, with a passion for live music and performing arts.

Jackie is a Councillor for the Saxilby and Nettleham Division of Lincolnshire County Council and also represents Saxilby on West Lindsey District Council. She is a senior examiner for the OCR examination board and is a retired Lincolnshire Music Teacher.
 Pat Garvey – Board Member
A professional musician since the age of 17, Pat is also a music producer, composer and educator. A multi-instrumentalist, Pat has played on over 700 released recordings and is the Head of Drums at British and Irish Modern Music Institute in Brighton.
 Dr Tracy Jeffery – Board Member
Tracy is a lecturer at Bishop Grosseteste University, teaching on the joint BA in Education Studies and the BA in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion programmes. She has a particular interest in music as a form of communication for people with learning difficulties.
 Sally Nunn – Board Member
Sally is a music leader for a host of orchestras and ensembles and her passion is really for music across all genres. She plays a multitude of instruments including the violin.

Technical Consultant

 Rob Williams
Rob is our former chair and the Director of Technology and Innovation at The Ticket Factory.  Rob’s IT wizardry continues to enhance soundLINCS’ digital vision and Cloud developments and advise on our technical development.
