Burn52 IS BACK!!!
This is a celebration event offered to all our young bands and group working on the HeatUp! programme.
Burn52 celebrates 20 weeks worth of Music making in Youth centres across the county and will feature live performances from Rock and Pop Bands, Vocal Groups, and DJ’s.

321 Schools Singing and Songwriting Project
321 offers creative opportunities for groups of Key Stage 2 children together with their teachers and all support staff working with them. It is being facilitated by 2 experienced soundLINCS music facilitators and an experienced Lincolnshire based composer.
321 is a creative songwriting project involving 12 schools in South Kesteven and South Holland. The Lincolnshire Music Service has targeted the schools involved using selection criteria which highlights need and capacity within each school..
321 comprises of:
5 practical workshop sessions (lasting up to 2 hours) and a performance.
Sessions 1-4 will take place within your school and involve creative work with a group of Key Stage 2 children (max 30 ideally a class) and their teacher/s. These will happen every other week. It is hoped that the children and teacher will work on the song in between sessions.
The aims of the workshops are to help the children and teachers to create a school song. You will receive a CD of your song to keep.
Each song will have the same chorus and each school will be provided with an audio CD, lyrics, guitar tabs and music for it.
Session 5 will be a joint rehearsal with 2 other schools from your area. We’re calling this grouping of 3 schools a ‘cluster’. The session will find creative ways to ‘merge’ elements of the 3 individual songs into 1 and come up with a unique cluster piece. Hence….321!
Session 6 The performance! – all 12 schools will meet up and perform two singing extravaganzas. Each cluster will perform their own unique piece and all schools will sing and play the original chorus.
The Performance will be on:
1st April : Belvoir Castle 6 Schools from the Grantham area.
3rd April : Springfields Exhibition Centre 6 Schools from the Holbeach Area.
