Time is running out to sign up for the last few places in EMPower, soundLINCS’ exciting new project for young music producers which will run weekly in the Lincoln area throughout the summer holidays and through to February 2015.
EMPower is a free learning and development project for 11-16 year olds which gives young people with a passion for music production the opportunity to collaborate with their peers and work alongside professional music producers to develop new skills and techniques.
During the sessions you can explore the latest music technology equipment and related music software, as well as having the brilliant opportunity to make visits to a recording studio. The project will also offer an excellent chance to network with other young producers and exchange experiences and expertise.
Music producer Eddy Mentzel, otherwise known as AudioJunkie, said of the project; “There’s a fantastic group taking part in this project across a range of abilities and I have no doubt it will be a great experience for anybody who joins. EMPower is a great opportunity for young producers to get together and be creative which isn’t to be missed out on.”
Any interested parties can contact soundLINCS on 01522 510073, firstname.lastname@example.org or www.soundlincs.org to sign up for the project or to find out more. Places are limited so be in touch soon to avoid disappointment!
EMPower is supported by funding from Youth Music and Lincolnshire Music and Arts Education Hub.
