Here’s a date for your 2012 diary! Thursday 23rd February 2012 9.00am - 4.00pm soundAFFECTS is a MUST for anyone who has a remit to work with children and young people in challenging circumstance – music teachers and facilitators, workshop leaders, local authority personnel, the voluntary sector and representatives from education, youth and arts organisations. Delegates will be able to sign up for specialist sessions, presentations and hands on skills-sharing workshops running throughout the day. In addition Arts Council England, Youth Music, Derby City Arts Commissiong will talk about trends and change in funding. Along with the Musicians Union, funders will be available for 121’s through the day although prebooking is advised.
